B2B (business-to-business) is a business model that allows transactions between businesses.

In B2B, businesses provide other businesses with services, source production materials needed for a business to operate, or resell goods and services produced by other businesses.

B2B is often contrasted with B2C (business-to-consumer) where the transaction is between a business and their consumers. Traditionally, processes involving B2B are more complex, have a higher volume of transactions and are slower as they take more time to implement.

B2B model can be vertical or horizontal, depending on the purpose of the business selling their products or services. In vertical B2B, businesses cater to other businesses selling products and services in one industry, whereas in horizontal B2B businesses serve multiple businesses.
